Look what we found on the way to work the other day!!!  It was a whole smushed up cake in the parking lot!!  Do you think that mom would let us stop and snack on it??

No.

We had to go to work today - she said.  

She's no fun.

We'll see who gets to have their cake and eat it too after I win the presidency...check out my campaign for 2008 by clicking here (don't forget to press "play").

As the week before this one seemed to be a rather sad one in the DWB world, I would like to (p)award this special gold card to ALL of my DWB friends - I mean what doggie, kitty or hammie couldn't use a little extra cha-ching to cheer themselves up?!

Honeymoon. Hmph! (part I)

Soo...without my pawrents' knowledge I have stealthily sneaked on the computer and checked out their photos to make sure that they were behaving themselves while they were away. While perusing their photos what did I see?!!  A photo of ANOTHER dog! I cannot believe they were cheating on me!! 
Mom tried to say that she took these pictures of the dog because she thought the dog was so well behaved while waiting for her owner who was gardening on the property (shown above)....I think that mom should have stuck to drinking happy hour Mai Tai drinks (shown below) rather than taking pictures of OTHER dogs!! I am so infuriated!!!
...she should have at least stuck to taking pictures of cats!...

Sniff, sniff...I can barely type - I am so happy.  We just got word that Momo & Pinot and their pawrents received a little package yesterday afternoon...I wonder if it was from the goodie exchange??  I hope they are experts at speed reading because this was a photo from their post on Tuesday!!

My dad is in the DOG house

As the title says...my dad is in the doghouse...but not like you think.  You see the people that my dad works with fancy themselves as practical jokers.  Since "dog food" is the nickname of the project that my dad works on, they thought it would be funny to "decorate" his cube while he was away on the honeymoon.  If you look carefully you can see a little dog dish by the door - there was coffee in one side and a yummy muffin (that my dad ate) in the other.  There was also a cute little dog toy inside.

I really think they should have consulted my brother and I  for "additional decor" advice - I promise you that Riley would have had no problem with "marking" this doghouse...if you catch my drift...

They'rrrre Back!!

They're back! They're back!

I am so excited!  And...if that wasn't awesome enough...I got this paw-some package from Deetz! I was so jelly about all of the doggies with piggies that I prayed for one...although frankly the "oink" scares me a little - I really must get more worldly and get used to the "grunt" in a swiss accent. Thank you for sending these piggies to us jelly dogs in the USA Faya!!  

Deetz!  Thank you for sending me the piggy and the squeaky toys and the yummy treats!  Now that my pawrents are back I can enjoy them all....after I nap, that is.

Fasten your seatbelt.

Well that's it I am just going to go down to Texas and get my pawrents
myself! After nearly an hour and a half delay my pawrents FINALLY got
on the plane to Boston...and then...they announced that one of engines
was overheated. My pawrents are stuck ON the plane without air
conditioning listening to a bunch of anesthesiologists talk about
hemorrhoid surgery and abscesses!

That's it mom and dad I have had it! I am coming to get you - yee haw!

(not so) Friendly skies

They are making me suffer soooo much! I have been waiting like a good
girl oh-so patiently for my pawrents to come home. I have cleaned my
fur and have not rolled in any stinky things today in preparation for
their arrival. Guess what has happened? Their connecting flight from
Dallas has been delayed! Why oh why?! I love being spoiled by my Nana
and Pops but frankly I think that Riley has over stayed his welcome -
he puts the "terror" in Jack Russell Terrier!

Waiting patiently...

Let the games begin! Woof.

The 2008 Summer Olympic games have commenced. At least I can take my
mind off of my pawrents deserting me by watching this historic event.
Here is the picture that Lenny and his mom put together of my "leg" in
the torch relay - it was really difficult to behave and not to nibble
on the pawlimpic bone.

a computer. Thanks!

San Fran-what-co??

Okay, okay I was all excited that my pawrents were coming home soon
and then I got word that they are in SAN FRANCISCO!
I ought to have them locked up in Alcatraz for Chihueagle neglect!

Pee-ess DEETZ I got your package but I cannot properly thank you until
I get to a computer.

Too all of my DWB buddies I will promise to catch up as soon as my
pawrents get me to a computer. I woof you all!

Does Aloha also mean goodbye?

Yay! My pawrents have left Hawaii! Aloha Hawaii!! Guess what? My
pawrents sent me a postcard - they really do miss me! The picture
shown is of the "spouting horn" in Kauai. The water spouts out of an
underwater lava tube. When the waves crash into the shore they push
water into one end of the tube which thrusts water out of the other
end - this end is on dry land.
Aloha Hawaii.

But can it chase mice?

This is a picture of a plant my pawrents saw at the tropical botanical
gardens. It is called "cat whiskers" - can you see why?

A loyal friend

This is a picture my mom took of this sweet little dog. He was waiting
ever so patiently outside the grocery store for his PL. Mom was
worried that he was homeless because he did not have a leash or a
collar. However, the store clerk knew who this dog was and even
recognized his PL in the store. Okay friends, a little secret - if I
was left outside a store loose I can guarantee that I would have found
a great scent to follow within the first 10 seconds!! You would not
see me hanging out patiently!!
