Walking the dogs

The other day we met up with our friend LP, her daughter Lily and her fur-daughter Mystic.  LP is a very busy mom, however when it comes to helping animals she always finds time in her schedule to help the animals at her local shelter.  On this day we met up with her at the shelter to walk the dogs there.

This is Mystic - she's being frisky with the camera!
This is Nico - he is a gentle man and loves to go for walks:

This is Bandit a very energetic Papillon cross (Chihuahua??).  The shelter is raising money for him to have cataract surgery on his eye:
News flash!! We just found out from our friend LP that Bandit just got adopted and went to his new home the other night!! Yipppeee!

We had a wonderful time visiting with LP, Lily, Mystic and their shelter friends!

We would like to send a special shout out to Lily and her cousin Reilly who is visiting!

I think you are so terrific for helping the shelter dogs! Glad that Bandit has a home! In our experience, the small dogs are adopted more quickly but it's amazing how many times there is just the right home for the bigger, older dogs, too.

How nice of Lily to walk the shelter dogs! That's wonderful news about Bandit! We're so happy for him!
No apologies necessary about the tail bracelet! Bracelets aren't usually worn on tails so how would you know, right?!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
