The pirate pug was very knowledgeable and very helpful with creating a plan to escape the dread pirate cat. He told my parents to formulate a secret potion made with the nectar of the "cotton candy" flower (shown above) ...and the crushed flesh of the fungus-amongus plant...
and the feces of the stretching long-legged bird...
topped off with 3 prickly things from the phallic cactus plant.
Once these ingredients were formulated into the potion only two drops were needed to stun the dread pirate cat for 30 minutes. The one caveat was that the potion only worked during the night of the "green flash." So, in the still of the night, my parents mixed up the exotic concoction and they waited...
