A few weeks ago...okay, SEVERAL weeks ago my dearest brother Riley turned eleven. We were too caught up in Olympic hoopla! at the time to post but not too caught up to forget about his birthday.
In true birthday tradition we took our annual barkday trip to the Polka dog bakery so that Riley could pick out his cake:
I went with him to make sure that he wasn't forgetting anything
Like these scrumptious treats!
When we got home it was all that we could do to hold back from eating the WHOLE cake!
Yes Riley you CAN choose your cake and eat it too.

I can't believe Riley turned 11. I just saw him yesterday and could have sworn he was 4. And I thought I was looking good for my age. Tell him I will definitely not stick my nose in his face ever again. Yeesh. I thought he was just a loser young guy, but he's an Old like me and Joey. He's cool like us!

We've heard that being a little bit late is sort of fashionable. But this late is inexcusable. Still, the best we can do at this point is wish you a VERY BELATED VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We are consoled only by the fact that it looks like it was wonderful.
